Happy Easter weekend! We don’t have a ton of plans this weekend other than relaxing, getting some errands done, some workouts in, and spending some time with family. It’s still feeling very ‘winter-ish’ here in Toronto, so it’s hard to want to be enjoying the outdoors. I remember wearing an off-the-shoulder dress and sandals last year during this same weekend?! Needless to say, it’s definitely a slow start to Spring.
If you’re like me and itching to shed the winter wardrobe, then this is an outfit that can help blur the line between winter and spring. I find that I can wear bare legs if I still am wearing something warmer on top. I love this little gingham skirt; it’s so cute and pairs so easily with so many pieces. A little skirt like this is great to have in your wardrobe to dress up with a silky top and heels, or dress down with a jean jacket and sneakers.
I paired this mini skirt with a pair of my black booties; I love the patent toe and silver detail on them. To keep myself from freezing, I added a turtleneck tank; it’s sleeveless, but you could do a regular turtleneck too, and my FAVE black aviator jacket. I got this jacket from Zara last year (similar here) and it’s hands down my go-to jacket. You’ve likely seen this in multiple other pictures & posts, but it’s because it pairs with anything and I literally wear it all the time. Highly recommend you add an aviator jacket to your wardrobe; such a cool (AND warm) piece.
