TGIF! I feel like I’m always saying that, but this Friday in particular I am yelling it. I don’t know if it was just me, but this week I just had noo energy. I actually think it was due to the fact that I’m no longer 20 years old, and my girls weekend in Florida seriously got the best of me. Fun fact: I love to party… so give me a bottle (or 5) of wine, the sunshine and 9 girls and I will be sure to have a good time. SO with that, I am super excited for the weekend. I plan on having a very low key weekend, with workouts (yes, I consider this low key), lattes, and cozy sweaters.
Speaking of cozy sweaters, it’s obviously sweater weather, which we all have been waiting for. Maybe I’ve been travelling too much, but Toronto seems to have skipped through fall and going straight downhill to Winter. Canadian fall/winters are long, so sweater weather will be around for a while, & fortunately I have my fair share of them.
I recently got this grey sweater from Romwe, and it has quickly become my go-to sweater. I love the big chunky knit, and grey-peppery colouring. It has a perfect cowl neckline that isn’t too high cut; I personally love this neckline because it feels cozy but not overwhelming especially with a big knit texture. I paired this sweater with a pair of grey high-waisted flared jeans, for that monochromatic look. Grey on grey is a fresher take to black on black. To keep it neutral, I added my favourite black booties and fedora; super easy sweater weather look! I’ve also been wearing this sweater with my skirts for a dressier look for work, and with my leggings and sneakers for a cute casual look.
