When fall/winter comes around my wardrobe totally shifts. In summer I’m all about the florals, lace and light colours, and then when the cooler temps hit it’s greys and blacks. Basically my entire fall winter shoe collection is black, so this year I was on the hunt for a pair of boots that were anything BUT. What initially got me on the hunt was seeing this post from one of my fav bloggers Blank Itinerary, I absolutely loved the shade of her red boots.
When I saw these red suede boots, I instantly knew these were going to be the pair to add to my boot collection this season. I’m not sure if you can really call these red boots ‘red’, but more of an oxblood, or maroon. This shade was so popular a few years back, and I am so happy that it’s back! The heel height is just the right height, and the suede adds a bit of luxe to the boots.
Because these red boots are sort of a statement on their own, I opted to keep the rest of the look neutral. SO, I sifted through my closet and picked out these two grey pieces (no surprise here). This little grey dress and jacket are both from Zara last year and are both such easy to wear items! Similar dress here & similar jacket here.
